Much more productive tonight! I got level completion and end results screen placeholders in and the flow works pretty well. I think ill knock out the save data next.
I got a few more systems into the game jam game today, but mostly messed with parallax layers, hopefully i can be more productive tonight.
Might not be too far off what what I had planned already actually! Great idea!

Cogforged is finally at v0.7!
Really excited for this build and beyond. This update really starts setting the tone for the story, added a lot more art in, a couple more sounds bunch of UI and dialog fixes!

Sample tilemap for cave area in cogforged legacy. Warm browns for the foreground stone palettes with cooler purple tines for roots. Far background has gotten compressed value ranges to help readability.
Spent a good part of the day tuning background palettes for cogforged. A small tweak, but it reading much better.

Spending some time working on a rhythm game system for a lil side project. Forgot how fun making sound reactive objects was.
I had a blast playing this tonight! Maybe next time I can get past the train level!

Im working on a twitch integrated stream game this week. been nice taking a break from the main project for a bit.
Getting back to demonologist on Sundays has been so great, terrifying, but do fun. Love thr new map mechanics.
Some parts of the city feel louder than they should, even when nothing is happening — cluttered with the remnants of things that were never fully finished or fully discarded.
