I switched from mouse & keyboard to controller because of my hand and finger joints hurting after a long day of working as a graphic designer. It helped quite a bit so I am able to enjoy the game at the end of a hard work day without any pain.

Found lots of helpful tutorials on youtube for beginners.
Also: pixelart. Very easy to replicate and if you play with the pencil options they even can be smoothed out so they look drawn.
And there are more options for eyes and lips than you think. Remove the lipstick on mouths and you discover lots of different shapes under them, same goes for adding lipstick and using a skintone color to make them look like full natural.
