i know she american idol-ed. that’s pretty much the limit of my experience here. she’s not someone for whom i think i’d recognize a song from.

in person festival ended saturday night and i’m still beat

last in-person day and early food break playset comes complete with packed restaurant, short fuses, and lots of confusion. some assembly required. batteries not included.

the way the audience erupted with laughter and applause at the comedy i closed last night’s program with is an experience that will stay with me. it made every minute i’ve given to festival screening and programming worth it.

got a complement from some filmmakers on my running order choices for one of our programs today and it really helped make it a great day

the oscar jury chose ‘diego’ for best live action short, so it moves on for oscar consideration and tbh it totally deserves that award and possibility

someone said something really hurtful to me online yesterday and it wasn’t some random stranger and now i’m fixating on it and just angry as hell.
