Also, I would like an API to be able to do the same thing Spotlight does with App Intents in LaunchBar. Shortcuts is nice, but being able to use App Intents directly would be so much nicer.

Not for me. But it's nice.

Of all the things introduced yesterday I think #Spotlight is the one I’m most excited about.

But in all articles I read they keep referencing #Alfred and #Raycast and only one named #Launchbar, which precedes them, it’s still available and it’s the OG of “Quick Keys” new feature in Spotlight.

But I sympathize with the problem of not being able to remember the names of some apps that I use regularly, but not frequently. Do you use a launcher like LaunchBar, Alfred, or Raycast? I use LaunchBar and one feature I love is custom shortcuts. Like, assigning “tas” or “tm” to Activity Monitor.
