You have to understand that their reaction isn't that they're embarrassed they left AI assets in their game... it's because they're embarrassed they were CAUGHT leaving AI assets in the game.

Fractures Emerge Between GOP’s Pro-Pedophilia, Extremely Pro-Pedophilia Wings
His career has been defined by defending indefensible dickheads.... OF COURSE he's all for Israel.
Let some psychedelics into the water stream and Ireland will have a NEW mythological creature...
The Salmon of Forbidden Knowledge!
Malachite has traditionally been used as a pigment and for copper. Don't think it's still used as such though, and ESPECIALLY for that piece, its purpose is to look pretty.
It's had a long life. Sitting on a shelf as a gem is its retirement. Congratulate it on reaching that!
You're looking at velvet malachite, Cu2CO3(OH)2.
A few warnings:
Please resist the urge to touch it to feel how soft it is.
Absolutely /do not/ lick it.
Keep far away from any Supermen.
If a wingéd creature emerges, do not agree to any pacts.
Let's talk about the science here.
Who doesn't love a little leftist in-fighting? Can't beat the right, so we might as well beat ourselves.
Isn't it fun to know that he can admit on TV to corruption and using the government to carry out a vendetta and we know not a fucking thing is gonna happen?
I want future generations to share that love. But what's left TO love? It certainly won't be something they can restore as their "mid-life crisis" like so many car nerds I know have. Nobody loves their appliances. And that's what cars are now, a vague box to be used, disposed of, then replaced. 7/7
I love cars. I love driving them, I love looking at them, I love talking about them, I love photographing them. But like everything in late stage capitalism, the love and lovability is being destroyed in order to make line go up. How can you love cars when everything now is just a white box? 6/7
And with the death of First Brands and all those aftermarket producers, it means even LESS "standardized" stuff is available to us. We create MORE manufacturer tie-in. And when manufacturers stop supporting that platform (and they will), that's it.
We can all agree that's bad, right?

We're looking at the end of cars that anyone can lust over and restore when they get older. Boomers had muscle cars. My generation has Radwood and JDM stuff. Millenials will have JDM and the 00s. But I don't know how much after 2010 is sustainable, and that makes me sad.

I don't want to be beholden to any vendor. I've never owned the same brand of car twice. I miss when I could get an aftermarket stereo to fill that hole in the dash. Now all the car controls are integrated, so nobody can make a replacement for that infotainment system.

Old cars can be kept alive. There's a whole hobby around it. Companies like Year One make it so you could basically build an old GM from scratch from their catalog. That doesn't exist anymore. Nothing is standardized, everything is proprietary with DRM, and that creates a vendor lock-in

Yesterday while driving home, I saw a Mk1 Rabbit, which made me INCREDIBLY happy because that's a car I loved autocrossing.
Then my partner and I started talking and it made me very sad, because it made me realize why I'm so disillusioned with car culture and the industry.

Was actually listening to @trangirlismo.bsky.social talk about this same thing this morning in Ep10. There's an Ohio Senator (Moreno) that is lobbying for a full ban on Chinese EVs.
Shockingly, he owns a bunch of dealerships.
Printer tray with contradicting info on how to load paper
Found the first thing I hate Brother laser printers for.....
Which is it? Why are there contradicting symbols?
People with no grasp of how technology works should not be allowed to write legislation about it. This is the second "Well that's impossible" regulation I've heard about in the past year. The first being age-verification at the OS level.
Kinda sounds like the doomsday bunker from Kingsmen
I think we hit the peak of cars in the late 2000s. Direct injection with its power and economy gains. Good stereos stock. Fun but not killing amounts of power. Things were great.
Then we started putting screens everywhere and it all went to shit. How did it go this wrong?
Oh man.... Reginos is my favorite Italian place! I hate to see them having server troubles!
Super glad Bluesky put resources towards a fucking AI bot that nobody asked for instead of investing in their infrastructure.
Can't wait for this fucking AI bubble to pop already.
To whom it may concern,
If you want help from your IT people, give them details. "It doesn't work" is not a sufficient starting point. Nobody should have to torture details out of you.
I know you don't go to doctors and just say "sick! Fix!" Give us SOMETHING to work with.
A 912 would be silly. A 911 sounds downright practical.
Let Max go play in amateur stuff. Let Serena hang out at the local court. The time I got to compete against Randy Pobst, I was thrilled. I'm gonna get my ass kicked, but you should always want to compete against "the best" right?
I dislike Max, but I hope he fucking enjoys doing the 24
I will remind everyone that when it opened, it was called Mooresville Motorplex. Mooresville is "Race City USA".
He said there were 21 entries the first week. 19 of them had at least ARCA experience. 14 of them had Cup Series experience. One of them had F1 experience (Scott Speed)

On Ep10 of @trangirlismo.bsky.social, Jordan mentioned "It's like Serena Williams hanging out at the local court."
When Trackhouse Motorplex first opened, a friend wanted to do the adult Tuesday night league. His kart wasn't ready by first week, so he just went to spectate.

A cat on my lap
A cat on my lap
Gonna claim the Gen Alpha slang for an older generation. I'm currently cozy-maxxing playing "Bookshop Simulator" with a cat on a blankie on my lap. I'm catmogging you all. #cat #cozy
I type 100+wpm and double space after every period. Asking me to break that habit is going to be.... tough. It's all muscle memory and reflex, like riding a bike. I can't un-learn how to ride a bike or drive a stick shift, and I can't unlearn this.
