🚨 New Feature Alert!
You can now mute and unmute schedules, manually within our app or dynamically with our new schedule mute API.
Muting a schedule keeps it applied while preventing pings from being sent, allowing you to maintain the participant's position once the schedule is unmuted.
Are you doing EMA research and wonder how to go about it? In recent work we've adressed some open questions and challenges, here is a brief summary of papers and materials.

Mix-and-match longitudinal schedules w/ other schedule types to create dynamic assessments for low-frequency behaviors. Ex: you want to intensively study the first two wks of employment. Using a longitudinal schedule, ask weekly about new employment, then activate a 2-wk EMA schedule automatically!
Inclivio longitudinal schedule controls. Repeat every 1 week for 52 weeks, send pings on Fridays.
Include weekly assessments every Friday for one year (you get the picture)
Inclivio longitudinal schedule controls. Repeat pings every 1 month for 12 months.
Need longer-form monthly assessments for 1 year? Select the schedule to repeat 1x/month for 12 months.
Picture of Inclivio longitudinal schedule controls. Repeat every 2 weeks, ends after 26 occurrences, pings sent on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Using the longitudinal schedule type, select how often you want to send you pings. For example, to include EMAs every two weeks, on Th, F, Sat, and Sun, for one year, all you need to do is set these settings. Set and forget!
Did you know you can also use Inclivio for your non-EMA longitudinal studies?
Send assessments weekly, monthly, yearly, or some combination, and include (only if you want) EMAs within.
Here's how to do that 👇
Very cool paper about detecting and controlling for Inattentive Responding in Ecological Momentary Assessment by Leonie Vogelsmeier, Irina Uglanova, Manuel Rein, and Esther Ulitzsch
You can make this a project-level default (project settings) or customize it for a particular participant on their participant page.
You can now send EMA surveys to participants via WhatsApp!
With over 2 billion monthly active users (86 million in the US), this addition makes it so easy to get your EMA surveys to your participants.
