Just to head off a known critique - my chapters are shorter than the average Korps writer. This is deliberate, I have ADHD and I wanted my writing to be geared closer to what I'm able to read.
With that in mind, if it doesn't fit your reading style, I understand. Thank you for trying anyway!

Kipo tugged at Rith's mane excitedly, and it followed her in with a smile.

The calling out of self-deprecation is a recurring theme. Every character has a moment where they call out everyone else for being down on themselves when it's one of their own primary traits.
