My husband Matt and his brother Nelson lost their Dad today.

For the past year or so he didn’t recognize me anymore but he always hugged me & told me how much he loved me ((thinking I was his beloved cousin Betty)).

Even if the visits were always slightly bittersweet, I am going to miss them.

One of my top bar hives is STILL Queenless, and this evening was the 4th time I have given them brood to make their own new Queen.

(First was their split 4/15, then 5/11 and 6/6 and now today)
