ja didn't make the playoffs this year
Well in that case your stuffed.

Obi-Wan's frown turned obi
at a certain point it's just conspicuous consumerism in the inverse. look at what i'm NOT buying
better not be typing on microsoft windows!
well yes i'm exaggerating for effect. but i'm serious about the fact that no one wants to sign up for a dozen dueling splinter clones that each host one writer they like. there are obvious growth benefits to being on the platform that people already use.
you really cannot count out the "i don't want to sign up for a new account on this platform no one uses" factor
about a quarter of my subscribers came from within the substack ecosystem. unfortunately it does indeed pay to play in the same sandbox as 90% of other creators!
they do, but it only contributes to the frustration that the show doesn't line up with their imagined version of it
this is the key tension! the fandom is really struggling with the lack of influence they have on a show that *everyone* likes
a short freewheeling (and free!) post about The Pitt fandom and what their deal is open.substack.com/pub/capybaro...
i feel like i log in every thursday and no one is talking about it!
oh buddy that's how i know you aren't on twitter anymore
it's funny how if you look at any other part of the internet or real life it's clear that The Pitt is a monoculture phenomenon that appeals to everyone but if you come on this website absolutely no one gives a shit about it
Dr. Michael "Robby" Robinovitch is an interesting addition to this matrix as a kind of quantum-entangled un-father who loves the kids he will never have and resents his surrogate children for embodying their absence
that was the best episode of The Pitt ever i think
i'll give you Waterfalls
What's Up? is better than all of these except Gangsta's Paradise and Fantasy. the 90s charts were uniquely bad.
user was blocked for this post is the first great account that bluesky truly owns. hats off to the creators.
no i’m so early on
canonically loves his kids but he's repressed: Don Draper, Seth Bullock
resents his kids but uses them as an excuse for his behavior: Walter White, Tony Soprano
his kids could genuinely float away in a hot air balloon for all he cares: Jimmy McNulty
watching The Wire for the first time. it's so funny how much McNulty hates his kids. like he doesn't even make the token prestige tv protagonist "i'm doing this for my FAMILY" gestures.
battle of the aura edits the the SoFi Play-In Tournament rn
