Another fun opportunity to give the Pearl a little bit of time in the sun we should be getting! ☺️

As seen from an angle to the rear, a man in a restaurant scrolls on his phone as he waits for his meal. In front of him, a woman in a parka and toque enjoys her meal.
Woman in a long teal coat with faux fur on the cuffs, hood, and hem and a toque, makes a photo of herself in a reflective surface at the entrance to a book store. A Pride flag hangs in the window.
In the evening dark, an older man in a beige coat reviews to coming attractions on a poster outside of a theatre named the Revue Cinema.
Passengers wait for a subway train inside of a station.

My partner Kathleen, a woman with dark brown hair, a melon cardigan, and purple dress with a tea party print, sitting across the table and out of focus with her mango juice because I had focused on my lime mint rickey.
Vegan thali plate that I had begun to eat, but then remembered to make a photo of ("for posterity!") before I got too far.
Audience members begin to fill the Ottawa Little Theatre for the last night of a play called Kimberly Akimbo.
Our anniversary Saturday was quite a delight, from a nice morning at 613flea (cookies! patties! dresses!), to a delicious dinner (thali!), and local theatre (Kimberly Akimbo!), had a lovely day marking ten years!
We're less than a day away from our #queer #transgender #nonbinary telethon!

That's true! I never really remember to check there!
Colour negative film hanging to dry in a shower.
(It's pictures.)
These two frames were seeing what I could get with a few stray sun beams catching a nice plant at Arlington Five.
(I had a toasted coconut oat latte, and Kathleen had her traditional oat London Fog. The lemon zest topper just makes it perfect.)
If it helps, they seem to update their where-to-buy list pretty regularly, so maybe something will be added!
I realized that might seem a little more saucy than the tattered ankle-length nightgown, ratty polyester sweater with half of its original pompoms, and Christmas slipper-socks that comprises it, lol.
Yikes! That's a bit far. Hopefully more outlets will pick them up as they can! They're kind of ubiquitous here, but they're a Canadian company, so I think it tracks.
Ooh, very nice!
I've used it a few times, but most recently was two weeks ago.
I agree! They've really helped with availability and affordability!
Ooh, good to know! Thanks! I just think I need something a little better than my usual ...domestic uniform for the occasion!
Thank-you! ☺️

Pentax ESII camera on a desk.
As for today? Sun’s out for half the day, so a little Aerocolor IV should be nice in confirming this camera’s temperature sensitivities.
(It’s supposed to be 23C today and I’m assuming it will perform without issues, but we’ll see!)
As seen from behind, a man sits at the window bar seating of a coffee shop on a street corner. A woman walking a bicycle crosses the street in the background.
View across an empty lot toward the street beyond. An apartment rises above in the background.
View at the corner of a subway station entrance toward a convenience store named AGP Mart. A pay telephone is out of focus in the foreground at bottom left.
Coming up the escalator inside of a subway station toward the surface. On the outside platform, a bus is waiting.

Too perfect: the hotel room we just booked for Kathleen (and myself for the days I'm not in their facilities), is just off of Trans Island Avenue.
There will be pictures.
I'm sorry Josh, I hope a nice walk with the pup helps, even if just a little!
A black and white city at sunset. Water views and a small ferry crossing.
Kinda drives you round the bend, so you put your head down. Then you get going on something else, raise your chin and get a sight that takes your breath away or at least makes you stop.
That’s what love is, right? A kind of love, at least.
C-41 chemistry heating in a bucket of water.
And we begin this evening’s game of is it pictures?
(Half of me wants to be out in the sun testing a new Helios 44-2 I received today, but there will be sun tomorrow too. At least until about noon.)
(The answer seems to be: probably! Not one gremlin joined me on a post-work walk in the sun.)
Black Pentax ES II camera held up with my right hand as I am standing on a sidewalk.
I don’t want to call it too early, but it is just possible that this ESII is as much as a temperature princess as I am.
Weather app showing that it is sunny and 17 Celsius.
Ngl, given the weather we’ve had leading to this, it feels a bit like an injustice to have time left in my workday.
Like I don’t trust it won’t somehow cloud over and start snowing the minute I leave the building.
