I feel like I’m missing some context.

And I say this as a defender of the MCU for much of its run up through Endgame, I liked that movie a lot. But early MCU understood that each movie had to stand alone. Telling me I have "homework" to do before watching a blockbuster action movie is the opposite of engaging.
Adding new footage to an old story in order to "bridge the gap" is just cheating. Not technically a retcon if it doesn't contradict anything, but pretty close. Where's Annie Wilkes when you need her?
What's "the IC?"
I want someone to ask them if this temporary economic pain is necessary to "accomplish the objective," would they consider raising taxes on the rich to help pay for it?
It would also be worth asking “if temporary economic pain is a necessary evil to deal with the Iranian threat, would you consider raising taxes on the wealthy to help pay for the war?” I have a feeling he wouldn’t be so blasé.
Oh, kind of the flip side of how right wingers in the U.S. have spent at least two decades declaring every vaguely progressive policy to be “socialist,” so now young people are like “socialism doesn’t sound that bad, actually.”
Oh, well that’s good! Obviously I agree with your point, I just figured the Republicans would hold out and it would drag on for months so we had to act now. Pleasantly surprised.
This is some weird 5D chess logic that doesn’t hold up to reality. Democrats can now proudly say “we immediately forced out a rapist in our party, they are continuing to defend theirs.” That’s worth more than any marginal gain of Gonzales vacating his seat a few months before his next election.
I mean what war criminals are Democrats defending?
Who is this referring to?
"We'll continue defending our rapist if you continue defending yours" isn't a good look.
Thank you for this. I've seen some Democrats are trying to trade Swalwell for Tony Gonzales. No, if you believe it's wrong, you get him to resign now, don't get cute and try to bargain.
When the seventh seal was opened, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
“My name is Forrest,” he casually remarked.
Wait, that’s the Weird Al version. I know that better, though.
Going to guess he's criticize a generic "system" in hopes of attracting Trump voters.
I was thinking "I thought Usha was Indian, is she actually Turkish?" Then I got it.
How is it that two of my favorite podcasts, Maintenance Phase and What Went Wrong, both put out episodes THIS WEEK that featured an asshole dressing up as Osama bin Laden shortly after 9/11?
And starting at age twelve, if we’re lucky.
The top line of Obama’s foreign policy was “don’t do stupid stuff.” Such a simple statement, and yet beyond the grasp of the GOP.
I don’t know if this is a joke or not, but it’s hilarious either way.
Ah, but if you were a fan, you could change the temperature of the room.
It's very good. Story wise, maybe a little derivative of something else in particular, but the change of setting makes it stand out.
"I'm an alpha male, I dominate the betas."
"Oh, is that like that thing with the fur suits?"
“When wars happen it means Jesus is coming back soon!”
Okay, so how does this time differ from all the other times in history when there were wars?
Every copy was deleted except for the one on the home computer of a pregnant employee, so we can’t prove your claim is false.
The have surrendered, and they will continue being “losers” until they surrender.
*laughs awkwardly at his own joke*
