DEAD SERIOUS. They had a ballgown event there like last week, but I saw an individual cosplay photo there that was separate from that so I went to their website and they allow photography for personal/non-commercial purposes.

The discovery that the Roman Baths allow cosplay photo shoots has led me to having SO MANY IDEAS.

He absolutely hates it and is thrilled his wife has someone to go with. I’m also thrilled I have someone willing to see horror movies with 😂

I’m ready for The Backrooms and Exit 8, but I don’t know the UK release. I’m still waiting for Kokuho release here.

Some of these photos came out very dreamy! Self shooting is kinda hard though, especially when I cant flip my screen to see what the viewfinder sees. It’s great for scenic shots but I need to work on using the remote with self portrait photography.

After a year of planning and mostly waiting, I got to do my bluebell shoot! And it’s my first shoot here!

I’m always looking at hands and my toxic trait is wanting to correct everyone’s hands when they cosplay a character with a sword.

Gym had us play a game for warmup today which involved us holding cones above our heads while trying to knock down another person’s cone. I managed to slap someone’s cone out of their hand & was laughing but they were like, “Why did you have to do it with such an evil cackle?”

Someone at the gym thought I was from London because I had “a slight London accent” and I’m truly confused but also amused that I have reached peaked integration jk.

Though I do find myself using UK terminology more often so I can be understood immediately/avoid as much confusion as possible.

But an observation I made today is I think people have become so used to digital photography they kept walking in front of my shot and I had to just wait it out because no, I can’t just delete and retry if it’s bad shot. Once it’s on film, that’s it I wont know the full details until I develop it.

I’m still so new at it I’m at the checklist phase where I’m ensuring I have the needles overlapping and focus, but I’m sure I will get faster over time. It definitely makes me more intentional about what I shoot because it is film/you get only so many chances.

Practiced shooting film around London today and very surprised to people approach me saying how awesome it is to see people shooting film. It makes me want to practice more!
