found a really cool font in the end though, so no worries

Spent like an hour trying to find the perfect monospace font that also fits Hiragana only to realise I don't even like how monospace fonts look on UI!

But I like tiering and ranking and organising things in neat little packages

Started playing Dark Souls again but this time not the Remastered but the PTDE version I managed to get my hands on. Looks visually more coherent, though I do miss controls being a bit more streamlined. Things like sliding down ladders is a bit weird to do.
