A pity that the ongoing SC2 pandemic didn't form part of the #PEBuk, steps must be taken to protect the next generation who have no say in being reinfected in schools but will still be expected to pick up the nature crisis baton.

The seeming lack of a clear plan by the UK government to attempt to mitigate this baffles me. Food security intersects with biological risk, because when food prices increase, people on low incomes cannot afford nutritious food. Malnourishment weakens the immune system.

I delivered a whole school drop-down day just on #FoodWaste last week. 270 pupils learning about the value & impact of the food we eat, alongside how & why to avoid waste. A joyful, fun day but #FoodSecurity hardly gets a mention in the national curriculum in England 🙄
The severe systemic risk here is obvious, so I'll confine myself to one aspect of it. The possibility of medication and medical supplies shortages in the near future is very real, so staying as healthy as you can is more important than ever. Wear FFP2 / FFP3 as often as possible.
Why should any political donations other than a standard annual party membership fee (say £25) be permitted?
All other options allow wealthy people disproportionate political influence.

Children spend ~8 hours a day in classrooms.

Fascinating day at High Court in London listening to Moorland Assoc’s permission hearing for JR against new burning regs. Highlight was judge’s comment about their argument: “It just seems to lose all sense of reality”. Judgement tomorrow at 10am on whether they can proceed to substantive hearing.
