My favorite is when it’s for services I don’t have. Like a Netflix account. Lol.

Similarly, I had a friend who used to run ultra marathons call to tell me about some book she was mad at becuase it kept conflating 5k and marathon and regardless kept saying that an hour was a really good time….
I can walk 3 miles in an hour with no issues…
You should! And then you can share the pretty finished objects!
Me too! I haven’t even finished the previous ones. But I love Amie, and just couldn’t help myself. :)
*latest, of course I see the typo right after I hit publish.
A rainbow of embroidery floss skeins arranged on a dark blue with gold sparkly bits piece of 32 count linen fabric.
Kitting up the last SAL from @lolacrow.bsky.social. :). Museum After Midnight. I’ve yet to manage to keep up with a SAL, but 4th times the charm?
The fabric is darker than her recs, she said it’ll be moody. lol. I just couldn’t help myself. It has gold sparkly bits and it just seemed perfect!
Caveat: my boobs aren’t very sensitive. I get to have them yearly, they haven’t been painful. Mostly just weird from having to stand awkwardly and hug the machine while someone positions your boob just right. If you’re ok with it, I recommend ditching the gown asap, it’s one less thing to juggle.
Dilute calico cat sitting on top of a work in progress blue knitting project.
Mine likes to sit into if my knitting.
Ooooooh!
They are so much fun! But their shimmer inks are *very* glitter forward and need a wider nib. My usual floss the tines trick didn’t work on my ef and I had to go up to a broad to make it work. But so pretty.
Yes they do! And it’s so sparkly! It‘s called shimmer ink!
As an EF girlie who basically only uses shimmer ink - it’s totally possible to make most inks work with most pens. I’ve only had trouble with Robert Oster and the super Diamine Shimmers that come in the inkvent calendars. all of the other shimmers work just fine! You just have to floss the tines.
Rainbow pens are the best pens!
So sparkly! I’m also an ef nib girl lol and I’ve met a few that I can’t make work. But for the most part shimmer inks work just fine. You just need to floss the tines a few times after a refil.
I‘m a glutton for punishment and almost exclusively use shimmer inks. lol. Good luck! Fountain pens are so much fun.
What’s funny is I didn’t realize it was his son at first and thought they did some kind of de-aging thing cause my brain kept registering him as a younger Kurt Russell.
Omg same! I was like two of you nearly hooked up - you don’t have to stop just because the other two actually hooked up. all of you should kiss!
Kitty! Off to go comment!
That’s lovely! I can’t wait to hear how it works up!
but magnus pears are soooooo very tasty! And if you dry them - *chef’s kiss*
It’s definitely some of this. My stress and anxiety is so much worse these days.
Pretty much go look at those articles that tell you how to get better sleep and try things to see what works for you.
-sleep timer to auto shut off audio book I listen to while trying to fall asleep
-if suffering from insomnia; Loóna is super chill, I usually fall asleep mid sleep scape (it breaks the no screens before bed, but sometimes I need it).
In addition to the sleep apnea check, I’ve found a couple of things that work for me:
-ditch devices/tv at least an hour before bed/have less bright lights and do something chill and analog.
-very low dose of melatonin (1mg is plenty)
-consistent bed time
My Apple Watch will show me my breath rate - you could check yours, if it drops very low that’s generally sleep apnea. It’s good info to bring to the doc.
Oh no! i Was really hoping they’d have answers for you. give your kitty some cuddles from me.
I’m going to need a picture of her lying on top of the puzzle kitty when you’re done…
That’s so cool! If you haven’t checked them out Ancient Arts yarn is a Canandian indie dyer. I really like their nettle yarn.
The one I know of is called Sheer ‘em to Save ‘em and I’m fascinated by it. Despite being able to search Canada, i think it’s only a US thing though.
I’m learning to spin yarn - and I learned of an organization that is trying to preserve sheep breeds, and if you buy at least 4 oz of wool from a participating farm - you’ll get a sticker! Apparently they also have a ‘passport‘ you can buy to put said stickers in….
Here’s hoping it’s something simple!
