The "members of a pedophile/sex trafficking ring are ensconced in the highest levels of our government and using federal powers to cover up for and protect themselves" conspiracy theory seems like it's checking out too.

The "first husband" bit did suggest there was maybe some distance there. :D
Ugh. I'm sorry and I'm sorry... I think.
Maybe he was actually re-signing as CEO and his iPhone autocorrected it to resigning as CEO and now he's stuck.
Apparently the remaining dudes in Sublime have gone MAGA? What a weird thing to hear about on 4/20.
Quite a trend of 3rd wave ska bands doing heel turns.
But why? Why do they sell caviar? Whhhhhhyyyyyy?
It's very limited supply.
(Ugh, sweaters.)
Uh.... wait, the dudes who made my suitcase and sell cashmere sweater also make caviar?
...that's weird right?
I thought it was great! Particularly enjoyed the thoughts on Boston as the musical tipping point that effectively ended rock monoculture. :)
Ah wow, the palio should be insane. Enjoy!
Ah man, I did a summer study in Florence. Beautiful city. Have a great time! If you're touring Tuscany, do check out Sienna and San Gimignano too.
Great sandwich shop called Antico Noe in Florence if you need a cheap/easy bite, and this sick platter came from Pizzicheria di De Miccoli in siena.
Time to go ry some cooder.
Wow, it's a literal Boston marathon.
Ye Gods man, Victor Wembanyama is like Chris Bosh, KG, and KD all in the same body.
Ah, I see we're invoking the sugarcubes clause.
This is the first full Blink-182 album I've ever listened to and it's exactly what I expect: tuneful and lively, juvenile and fun. I like Rilo Kiley and love Jenny Lewis but man, this RK album's a snooze. Blink-182? No snoozin'. Just loud dumb fun.
Voting Blink. 2/2
A few years ago, I went to see a buddy of mine play in a Sublime cover band (ugh) and there was also a Blink-182 cover band on the bill that I was dreading having to watch.
They kicked ass.
I was just a smidge too old for Blink to seem cool when they hit, but they write great pop punk songs. 1/
When fuel prices go up, airlines can't raise prices on tickets already sold, so they add or increase fees (checked bags, seat selection) and push the costs on to new ticket sales. Whenever fuel costs come down, future travelers will be stuck paying for the fuel increases of past flights for months.
Those first two Crosby, Stills, & Nash/CSN&Y albums are just so good. Wish they could have held it together at that level, but egos and drugs and life would not let it be. Funny how the things that pull some people together and take them beyond as a group can be the same ones that push them apart.
My in-laws are from Pittsburgh. Great baseball stadium. I could get behind the Pirates if they'd go back to those sweet flat caps from the '70s, although I remain a little annoyed that you all drafted Skenes and didn't let him fall to the Nats with us drafting at #2.
NL East standings as of 4/19/26.
It's hilarious that the Nats are 2 games under .500, have gone 2-7 at home this season, and are somehow in second place in the NL East.
I liked Baby Driver, but it was basically just a cool car chase music video. This lacks even the somewhat inspired mayhem of that.
And that drum part is friggin' nuts.
Lots of good people in it, clearly spent a ton of cash creating the world, and then... just lousy. Tone off, story undercooked, overlong *and* missing important bits, and the ending is not so much half-assed as "we had no money for reshoots so we edited what we had to this" quarter-assed.
Finally watched that new Running Man movie and... ugh man, how the hell did they screw that up? Woof.
They used to have peas with mint at Nando's and it was like my favorite side, but they've dropped it from the menu in the U.S. (I assume they still have it at the British ones.)
Still Crazy After All These Years, The Only Living Boy in New York, 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover, Was A Sunny Day... great song after great song, always innovating and incorporating sounds he heard into new stuff. Great songwriter. Damn shame he's also an ass, but... well, I listen to a lot of asses.
Nothing against his son, but I am proud for my kid to have played a part in keeping the "Things JD Vance Supports" losing streak going.
My son's flag football team just beat JD Vance's son's flag football team.
This is a good day.
