The more you comment / post on classic books the less you will notice book promotions. It is merely a matter of volume.
Starbreaker Protocol, Babylon Dreams, Wuthering Heights, Into the Reflection, Fall from Grace, Of Kith and Kin.
I am becoming more consistent with my reading. The highlight this month is Wuthering Heights.
There's a bookshop in Scotland you can actually live in, and run it yourself for a week.
It's located in Wigtown.

I remember reading To Kill A Mockingbird, being shocked by The Color Purple and absolutely floored by Noughts & Crosses. It is wonderful that such a remarkable woman is an ambassador for the UK's Year of Reading. #booksky

A Message to Tiger Lily, Daughters of a Winter Night, Leap of Faith, Cancer in the Time of Covid, Escala’s Wish.
Despite Escala's Wish being a long book, I really enjoyed it. Don't think I've read any Fae book before, must have been living under a rock! Cancer in the Time of Covid was also not what you would expect. #booksky
In this article the founder of Storygraph argues it is not about competitive statistics. Yet you do not see other peoples reviews, or what they are reading, so it feels more stats and less social than Goodreads.

5 books - The Trauma Machine, Off-World, Misunderstanding, Sophie's World, Death Avenue.
I have started the year well with the outstanding read of the month being Sophie's World.
Yes, don't need to extend my vocabulary with the vernacular; peace is enough.
This is lovely. Nice to see children recognise the importance of peace. Just have to get the adults in charge to agree now.

Interesting article, but it took me 3 days to read, not due to screen time, but due to general life.

I've just finished Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde which is only short and does not appear on your Goodreads list. Gulliver's Travels is good, especially parts 3 & 4. More modern you could try Rebecca by Daphne de Maurier, or if you want a real challenge Midnight's Children.
Four books including Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, Extraterrestrial Noir, Fatal Hope and Mist & Flame.
Not keen on StoryGraph's wrap-up of the year, as I believe it highlights the wrong things, but the monthly wrap-up is useful. #booksky
This is a lovely article on #writing, but if you are new, don't rip up too many rules, or you will get someone like me saying, how have you gone from A to C without B? #booksky

This book is fantastic, another gothic book topical at the moment is Wuthering Heights, if you have not already read it.
Christmas has come early in the Jones' household, my husband has a new DVD and won't stop singing the funky gibbon. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXq8...
Kitties in my Christmas tree! #Caturday
What do you think of Storygraph compared to Goodreads? Especially now GR are stopping direct messaging (yes!).
6 books read, Hard Times was the highest rated
I don't think I got much sleep last month. Trying to remove some lower-rated books from my kindle.
She is not only one of my favourite writers, but she's funny as well! #booksky

Am watching the series on Netflix at the moment, are the books as good as the series?
Interesting that the winner of the Booker Prize has a male protagonist and writes in a sparse style. #booksky

Heard good things about the Ken Follett, missed the Ian McEwan, that's another one for the list.
Well done keep going.😀
Another favourite author. I've read Remains of the Day and have Never Let me Go on my kindle.
For a quick bite! Just finished reading Dracula it was interesting. Have read Twilight as well.
ICYMI: BookTrust has launched its Christmas appeal, aiming to deliver 18,000 book parcels to disadvantaged children and those in care across England, Wales and Northern Ireland 👇 #BookSky
My husband will be pleased with the red; he's originally from Withenshawe. Not a football fan, so I don't understand the black and white.
