I was inoculated against this nonsense as a child, back in 1992 when Wolfenstein 3D would try to tell you that you were a weenie for quitting.

A faux vintage poster for the Oceanside City Marathon advising "NO CHEETING: MArathon Runners MUST end the race in the same form that they started!" and showing a cute young woman transforming into an anthropomorphic cheetah mid race, shifting over multiple stages from a lightly jogging human with brown hair and tanned skin in a pink track suit to a zooming cheetah with a torn outfit and spotty fur.
When you're in the zone and your vision narrows to a tunnel, it may be tempting to let go and turn into a cheetah. But that's an instant disqualification, so don't do it.

I meant it's only one platform. I guess if an artist is *only* on Twitter, that might work. But if any artist today is using Twitter as their only online presence, they're already in trouble
Good to know; I stand corrected. Even so, nobody's "taking down" an artist by getting them banned from Twitter. x)
Yeah I'm not convinced anyone in this exchange is a real person
To be fair, I know a lot of non-Americans who don't like peanut butter. It is something of an acquired taste I think, like if you grow up with it. I love it, haha
The junk that's in those things is about as much like peanut butter as watching porn is like having sex
Yes ma'am~ :9
I'd be interested in submitting something simple~
I prefer to be tagged in the original post
Haha! I remember that! I've always wondered like if our schedules just synced up particularly well that I happened to be taking breaks right when you tended to post. x)
Then sometimes it's like "oh shit, I don't want Gus to think I'm weird... better wait half an hour before I fave this." So I open it in a new tab and wait...
Which is arguably even *more* creepy
Aw thank you! And likewise :>
I always feel kind of creepy when a friend posts a pic and I'm the first one to favorite it. xD I swear I'm not just hanging out on social media all day. Just coincidentally checking my feed at the exact moment they post something hot
Haha thanks! I used to watch that all the time myself x)
Oddly, they DO show the curves graph in action. But they show the user manipulating it via the new UI widget. It seems like an extra step removed from what I'd do. I'd much rather just manipulate the curve directly in the graph.
So again, will just need to use it to see if that's possible
And finally—no word on more traditional controls like curves or color wheels. I think they just want to show off their new hotness, so they didn't mention it. But curves in particular are so fundamental to my workflow that if they remove them it's going to be a massive step backwards.
I'm also not wild about the gallery view for clips, especially vertical. I'd rather have the UI vertical (where it is now) and the clips along the bottom like a timeline. But whatever. I'll just have to use it to try it.
Being able to apply looks across an entire seq is a major improvement tho
I really like that each control packs a function into both X and Y position. If these are carefully designed so these functions synergize, that'll be super nice. The demo video didn't really go into detail about what they can do.
I'm not wild about the pop-up scopes, especially when they pop up over the image you're trying to grade. But I think that's just because I'm old school in that I'm used to always having the scopes on the screen in their own window. I'm sure this is configurable for weirdos like me. x)
So as far as Lumetri being there for tweaks and quick fixes, yeah, it's fine. It's what I use when I grade my silly little projects and it does the job. Serious pros don't use it, so they don't care either way. But if it the UI update makes it easier for beginners, so much the better.
This isn't to say Lumetri is bad. It's like so many Adobe features in that the best I can say about it is that it exists. Lumetri is there. It's fine.
But Resolve is so objectively better, and a UI overhaul isn't going to change that. And no serious production grades in Premiere anyway.
Some thoughts—
No word on if it's the same Lumetri engine under the hood. I suspect it is, because of their ad copy's focus on "all new interface" and "new color controls".
The weakness in Premiere's color was always Lumetri itself, not really the interface. But maybe there've been some tweaks.
Happy birthday hon! I hope you get a chance to do something special even if you have to work today too
Took a look at Adobe Premiere's new color mode and I'm cautiously optimistic. Looks like they're making a serious effort to bring their tools up to date, or at least trying match what Resolve has been doing for a decade now. It actually looks like a competent overhaul, and very sorely needed
Pulsar jogging while wearing a tight yellow thong that barely stretches all the way around his huge cock and balls.
Spring is fast approaching! Finally I don't have to wear as much when I go out ❤️
Pulsar kneeling on an exercise mat, stretching while checking his phone. He has his ass and tail feathers up and is wearing super tight blue yoga pants that are form fitting around his huge donut asshole, big balls and cock.
It's important to stretch before working out :>
Haha, well just read the room ;> If you want to go a couple rounds in a row I certainly don't mind
Aw thanks, I think so too :>
Oof, I'm the opposite. x) Keyboard and mouse comes naturally to me, but I can't use a controller to save my life
