It's very convenient to label everyone who's against ai a "technology hater" but surprise surprise, it's not about the technology or any technology at all, it's about unethical use, labour and copyright theft, and destruction of the environment to profit billionaire class
Also I think it's very funny that they put VR into the same group as AI and Bitcoin. VR is cool (just not the metaverse) & I worked with some awesome artists and developers in the space.
I'm honoured to join the gang 🫡

The way profit maxxing corpo culture has invaded every form of art through algorithms pushing people into daily posting is really weighing on me lately. Efficiency and regularity of making "content" being prized above all else feels so grim, man.
Did a study of this chunky boy, he took me about 3 hours and I love him very much
Hi !
#portfolioday
I'm a freelance artist working in the publishing industry and for Magic the gathering.
I love painting illustrations with movement and emotion.
Illustration of Critical Role’s the Mighty Nein on Jester and Fjord’s wedding, re-interpreting the classical painting “A Call to Arms” by Leighton.
Illustration inspired by antique book covers, centred around the Falconer’s Rebellion characters from Critical Role’s Campaign 4.
Two illustrations of Caducesu and Mollymauk from Critical Role in art nouveau inspired frames.
Illustration of a blue-skinned horned character in the middle of casting a spell, in a library at night. This is a personal project.

La belle dame sans merci by Frank Bernard Dicksee version of Hans and Henry from Kingdom Come Deliverance
Two images next to each other. To the left is an image of my VTM character Ellair, holding himself in anguish with glowing yellow eyes, as his sire's hands try to grasp him from above. To the right is an image of Lucia, with candles in her hair and in her hands, her eyes glowing.
A pale changeling sitting in water in the deep dark green forest
Image of my characters Ulvar (left) and Niketas (right) looking into each other's eyes in a swedish lake in the early morning. There are reeds, water lilies, a rock and two dragon flies in the foreground.

Illustration of a skeleton on a black horse holding a magical paper and pen. The environment is of a medieval battleground after a battle and on the foreground a fallen knight with magic similar to that of the skeleton coming out of his chest can be seen.
Illustration of a vampire woman luring the viewer closer
Illustration of a knight holding his sword close to his chest, crows are flying by and two shooting stars can be seen in the background
Illustration of a monster slayer sitting beside her fallen prey after a hunt

Slowly but surely, the Serpent’s disciples assemble. Work in progress, stay tuned. 🎨🖌️
How do I explain to my non-artist friends the feeling when someone whose work you admire starts following you
I think it is!!! I was looking up the russian one a couple years ago and found out that the original show was British??? But it was cancelled after like one season. I HAD NO IDEA there was a Korean one too 😭😂
Showing off this weird piece of lore definitely wasn't on my list today. Or ever haha
Best of luck Eren, you're amazing and you deserve both those things 🤞
Sketches:
An illustration of Dracula’s castle based on a portrait of Vlad the impaler. A man approaches the castle on foot. There’s a massive spectral wolf waiting to greet him and a mysterious ring of white fire burning next to the path.

Into the mouth of the beast… faffing around with a slightly daft version of Dracula’s castle based increasingly roughly on that portrait of Vlad the Impaler. I did a black and white version too which I (obviously) almost prefer…
Absorbing the heavy, visceral weight, this sculpture pulls you into a dialogue of form and symbolism. Amazing work by Marek Skubal via Dreams & Divinities

Oooh those little talons and emotional expression create a striking, otherworldly tension.

A painting depicts a woman with jet black wavy hair. She is wearing a purple sleeveless dress and a red cape from the Iron Age period and a lot of jewellery: multiple gold bracelets, a hold belt, gold rings, a torque and a lunula around her neck, and a brooch. The woman holds a sword, and there are three ravens next to her. The painting is painted in shades of purple and red
There are plenty of strong women in Irish mythology but Morrígan has always been the most striking one to me.
Painting I made for my swordfighting club (it's not a metaphor, I promise 😅) to be used as a poster for their International Women's Day workshop

QRP with your sketch vs final!
Oh my god they're incredible!
i really don't often do cape comic art but i'm still quite fond of these supes and WW pieces from 2016
My new vlog is UP ✨ I need everyone and their mother to go watch this, share it etc because I am about to lose monetisation on my account thanks to me taking a break to deal with my dad's death.
Thank you so much 💖

Read one of the best fantasy series of all time. Start with Guards Guards, then go in publication order. It's peak.
I firmly disagree with you on sorcerers and warlocks
Sorcerers = purple, warlocks = orange
Thank you for sharing, I love reading about other people's career paths, especially someone like you who started their art career after having a "normal" job / balancing both for a while
That was too long ago
