Recall for cheese in 20 states upgraded to highest class due to potential for listeria A cheese recall that affects 20 states was upgraded to the FDA's most dangerous classification after the products tested positive for listeria monocytogenes.

🚨FDA upgraded a cheese recall to Class I (highest risk) over Listeria which can cause severe illness, miscarriage, or more rarely death- especially for pregnant people, elderly, or immunocompromised. Discard/return affected products.
