I needed surgery for mine but it overall was a pleasant experience. They gave me laughing gas, then knocked me out with propofol, then administered local anesthetic so it wouldn’t hurt when I woke up.

They gave me Percocet to take home so overall was a cozy week afterward XD

I did my citizenship in 2015. It was a 2 year wait for appointments but I used a quirk in their booking system to sneak in within a couple weeks. Although that doesn't exist anymore in their current system.

Everything with the Italian government is hard it seems. I have been trying to get a CIE card from the consulate and they've been full up on appointments for months and they have no wait list. I just keep checking.
