As an autistic and trans person, I’ve always found it strange—unsettling, even—how so many people accept arbitrary laws and institutional norms as if they’re carved from the bones of the universe, immutable and absolute.

Fantastic display of solidarity for the trans+ community at today's Manchester Derby.

We are United fans, we love the women's game and we stand by our trans, non-binary and intersex siblings in their time of need - we are not going anywhere! 🔴⚪⚫🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

On this day in Monty Python history, the Holy Hand Grenade was thrown.
Scotland. May 6th 1974
(Incidentally, this is the first time I've noticed Eric Idle is the only ķnight who dives for cover. Brave Sir Robin! Totally right for the character.)

Snippet from an interview with michael:

"We invited him out afterwards for a bite to eat. My wife Helen said it was really odd, sitting at the table in the middle of two Michael Palins. There were certain things which were very similar, not purely physical - and let's face it, he's a good- looking guy, which I was very flattered by - but in the way he did things and looked at the
world, that was very sort of
Palin-esque, which was rather
weird."

Michael enjoyed Charlie's performance in Holy Flying Circus so much, he went to see him perform at the theatre then invited him out for dinner afterwards.
As they sat together, Palin made this observation:

Look at this video: a *huge* crowd of Vermonters swaying alongside Mohsen right after he was freed, singing "We Shall Overcome"

Signs reading "Hands off our students" & "free speech" are peppered in between large Palestine flags

Graphic with a purple background. On the left is a Blue box that says 'trans people belong'. Below that is a pink box that says "Email your representatives now and stand up for trans rights!". On the right is a simple map of the uk, coloured in the trans flag colours. At the bottom are the Equality Network and Scottish Trans logos.

Are you an ally who wants to speak up about protecting trans people’s rights?

Use our simple tool to email your MP or MSPs to tell them how worried you are about what the UK Supreme Court ruling might mean for how trans people are treated in their daily lives:
