It's impossible to hide love for Lucifer! Even my youngest kid noticed how much me and my eldest love him, she made us a card with "The duck guy from that show you watch" 😁 When she's old enough to watch it herself, she'll probably love him too 😂

Just dug out an old laptop thinking I could use it for book formatting purposes instead of sitting at my desktop. Managed to get it to turn on.

I forgot I had this account. The other place I share my writing stuff is currently on fire (as per) and no one ever sees my content anyway so I might as well double my lack of engagement 😁 Do we do hashtags here? Like #WritingCommunity? Can I unlock Big Character Allowance?

As fans, there's always gonna be things we want to see (IE the above) but we can also appreciate the constraints of available space, the need to prioritise plot points etc. Sometimes the best course of action is alluding to these aspects and letting the viewers fill in the gaps!

When I was really little, I had this bargain bin copy of Little Red Riding Hood that I made my mum read multiple times a day. Apparently it was awful! I loved all of the wolf-related fairy tales.

#ATOTH wouldn't translate well on screen. Maybe animation, but as it satirises so many elements of visual media, it'd simply become that which it holds a mirror to, which defeats the purpose. I sometimes imagine the voice cast, though.

The four main characters in #ATOTH are textbook examples of the four attachment styles.

I wish I could say this was intentional. I don't understand how it wasn't.

Best writing advice: Ask yourself two questions. Does it sound good? Does it make sense?

Worst writing advice: "Avoid adverbs" and the likes. They're not necessarily wrong, but they're widely misunderstood and notoriously under-explained.

I could waste time talking about Raffia's sense of humour, but Azrael's is far superior. Puns, word play, dad jokes, silliness, cheeky comments... He's got the full comedic package!
