The new Vanity Fair article suggests threats and intimidation are keeping our legislators from operating independently in their votes. Allegedly there are Republicans who want to vote with Dems. Not sure if it’s true or paranoia but Congress seems full of cowards right now.

I feel the exact same. He’s testing the waters. Or baiting us. Either way, it’s not appropriate by a mile.

If they can’t stand the heat, get out of Congress. Let someone with a spine and a willingness to sacrifice take the seat to do the right thing. The oath was protect and defend against threats both foreign and domestic. This is the domestic part. They need to get in there and vote for what’s right.
