Thank you, President Trump, for finally delivering us a substantial tax on carbon!
"I think the climate crisis should be everyone’s No.1 priority, but you can’t tackle the climate crisis without tackling the affordability crisis & the inequality crisis. It’s the same polluters who are destroying our environment who are extracting wealth from our economy to line their own pockets."
Or look at Electrek’s March 11 article “As gas prices rise, there’s a cheaper answer for many people than an electric car” (Hint: Electric bikes, scooters, and motorcycles). electrek.co/2026/03/11/a...
Gas at my nearest NE Ohio stations just hit $4/gal today! Sure is making my now 8 yr old home solar and PHEVs (85 MPG ’23 Escape, 200 MPG ’18 Prius) look great - net basically off our grid. How about an EV, new or used?
NEW: Dominion Energy’s wind farm off the Virginia Beach coast sent its first batch of power to the regional electric grid on Monday, the company confirmed.
The milestone comes months after the Trump administration tried to block the project from moving forward.

This is one that I’ve most been looking forward to putting out there. A false choice that I still see and hear in far too many cities. Please share. #UrbanTruth
Despite the anti-renewables narrative, solar + wind hit a record 17% of U.S. electricity in 2025
Add rooftop solar? ~19%. No slogans. No spin. Just growth.
Cost curves don’t argue. They win. This isn’t a debate anymore — it’s a takeover. #Bettrification
Protecting forests is a HUGE climate solution.
It is also a solution to biodiversity loss, protecting watersheds, and improving human health.
Before-and-after green street transformation in Paris
Transformation of urban Square into forest in front of Paris City Hall
Street transformation of “School Street“ in central Paris, including greening
According to the City of Paris, in the last 10 years 150K trees have been planted, and 45ha of parks created in the already hot city, all intended to not only improve quality-of-life today, but also help the city adapt to & manage summer heatwaves of 50℃ (122F) by 2050.
Keep going with this, Paris.
Graphic showing that streets without trees can be as high temperature as 36, 50 or 50°C, whereas similar streets with trees can be 18, 20 or 26°C
As already warm cities become more and more vulnerable to extreme heat events, or just the “new normal” of hotter and hotter cities every day, here’s just one more reason why more street trees and other greenery are good for streets & cities. It’s just common sense, really. Cooler, cleaner, better.
Fascinating writeup about our changing climate, with emphasis on the U.S. 2025-26 winter. Likely a big surprise to those that experienced the first "real winter" in some time...

Even if you are 100% convinced that Democracy is already dead and our votes won't count...
PLEASE VOTE ANYWAY!
I'm begging everyone. There is a critical mass of voter turnout that will be too big to fix.
Please vote, no matter how bleak it seems.
I charged my EV last night (from 20 percent to 100 percent) and it cost me about $17.
Beyond the no gas, the car just rides so beautifully. Got it in July and cannot imagine ever going back to gas car.
Sunlight travels 93 million miles to reach the earth
None of them through the Strait of Hormuz

Everything you think you know about EV charging is going to become obsolete. 🧪🔌💡☀️💨💧🔋 insideevs.com/news/789094/...
the_thinking_great_ape You know what WON'T get stuck in the Strait of Hormuz? Sunlight and solar panels. @nickofnz
Some math: Study said 21.65 mpg and 12,698 miles as base. That would be 586 gal/year. Plus 1 mpg would be 22.65, plus 1.2% miles would be 12,850 - using 567 gal/year. So, a 1% reduction in fuel use - NOT more fuel use.
China is developing and deploying the technology of the future now. 1500 kW, liquid cooled, flash EV charging. 🧪🔌💡☀️💨💧🔋
Next week! Join us for a webinar on the climate solutions that could buy us time and the lack of media coverage. New research reveals which emergency brake solutions (like methane cuts) are ignored despite potential impact. 👉 https://bit.ly/4klUGov

Newest electric bill for our solar-powered home: $4! Nice to be effectively off the grid…
I think heat pumps are a far more important technology than AI.
Yep. You heard me.
There is no such thing as truly “clean” coal.
Increasing the rate at which we deploy renewables will save billions in energy costs in PJM alone. 🧪🔌💡☀️💨💧🔋 pv-magazine-usa.com/2026/02/11/d...
