My sister is constantly saying she wished she got my hair lmao

Yeah sure the plastic bs does break but it does actually hurt more when I remove hair by combing or brushing with plastic over carbon fiber reinforced plastic or metal

fr though if you have thick follicles you gotta get on like carbon fiber reinforced combs and aluminum brushes. If I didn’t maintain my hair thew way I’d like to I’d look like a Hasid or I’d end up with dreadlocks

Antonio’s is an institution just like Pepe’s, or Bueno

also do you know anything about the western Mass scene? It’s kinda the wild west

18 hours ago 0 0 0 0

I fucking love that shit though. I’ll take a reheated slice of a Greek feta and olive pie

W Mass pizza sits in this weird middle ground of Boston, NYC, New Haven influence, mostly influenced probably by Boston but we do get clams on pizza here. sort or depends on the town? Springfield is VERY different with za than NoHo, Amherst, Easthampton which are their own category of “college slop”

but yeah like notoriously the owners at Pepe’s come around to check in on the customers, they’re running a business obviously, but talking to the modern guys was like being on punk time

with the white clam pie, if you go to Pepe’s don’t expect something that tastes like a pizza. it’s not

18 hours ago 0 0 0 0

it’s *not* pizza. It’s an entirely different experience. Ah-beetz. I’m not usually a sweet/savory guy but it’s basically close to desert if you have fresh tomatoes

if you’ve never had New Haven pizza just get a pizza stone for your oven, like I said you can use passata or ideally just take some nice tomatoes and pass them through a mill. literally the only other thing besides pizza dough you need is pecorino

You can make this in an oven just get a stone

18 hours ago 0 0 0 0

classic tomato pie with pecorino is so good if you can make it. use good passata or fresh if you have a food mill. pizza dough, figure it out, fresco milled tomato or just passata. Pecorino. Black pepper. you don’t even need mozz

It’s deranged listening to the advertisements

19 hours ago 1 0 0 0

HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO WIN ON THAT. NEW HAVEN HAS THE BEST PIZZA

19 hours ago 1 0 1 0

Funny thing is this is a major political point for the GOP: that the Dems are focusing on the fact that New Haven has the best pizza

19 hours ago 1 0 1 0

even if they don’t use the same oven or whatever it’s the best pie in the US

19 hours ago 1 0 1 0

they fucking rock

19 hours ago 1 0 2 0

also if you’re a local how busy is modern generally? I know Pepe’s is crazy, never even been close to Sally’s

19 hours ago 0 0 0 0

HOW IS IT SO UNDERRATED

19 hours ago 1 0 2 0

When you go to Frank’s you know exactly what you’re getting. It’s an institution. Modern Apizza is just the vibe if you need to hit New Haven

Mordern clears Franks Pepe’s (no disrespect I love the white clam pie)
