I would just hope that a minimum they would govern spending and vanity estate projects. I'm an idealist I know.

More just talking nonsense and babbling, rather than getting agitated. And quite different from blethering, and the opposite of good craic.

I am sad to report biscuit gifs on here are not as good as the other place, but in short (bread), I agree with you.

LearnGaelic Dictionary Search the English to Gaelic LearnGaelic dictionary for words, phrases and idioms with audio sound files.

learngaelic.scot/dictionary/i.... It's slang so doesn't really appear in regular dictionaries but here's a usage with a sound file.

Like so many things, it has been badly communicated, and there's been no effort to get people on side. I'm so furious about the imposition on my life, I can't really argue coherently about it (and it's late). I think this software issue in the US is food for thought. I don't want to be a tax nerd! 🤣

I'll give that a proper read soon.Thank you! I will admit to coming at this from the pov of a highly skilled sole trader who does the job, gets paid, meets legal obligations w/minimum fuss.I contribute to a remote region and local economy,& do resent certain obligations being outsourced/expensed to me

I expect you will have thought far more about it than I have. And I hadn't really considered the social contract side of limited liability. Doesn't having PI insurance (which I have as a sole trader, too) off set some of that? Or am I being obtuse? (Probably)

I don't think even with Ltd companies it's a good idea. If you're one person who has set up a 1 person business, maybe doing psychotherapy or architecture-it's an extra costs with risks if it's assumed the cost is passed on to the customer. No one asked for it and it wasn't in anyone's manifesto.

#MakingTaxDigital @labouruk.bsky.social - this policy is going to do exactly this ⬇️. Why should we pay the private sector to be able to meet our legal obligations to pay our taxes. Stop making people beholden to big tech!
