🚨 Scam alert: Received a lovely email from writer @alexshaw.bsky.social praising "The Planet Factory". I replied—friendly chat, no red flags…

… until I got the exact same message, word-for-word, from author Daniel Palmer. Pretty sure neither Shaw nor Palmer are behind this pen!

Just to confirm, this was not me. I’ve also had reports from LinkedIn and Instagram of scammers impersonating me. Impersonation was once considered a form of flattery, this however is not. Please note, I’m not in the habit of emailing authors whom I do not personally know. @thecwa.bsky.social
