That is a fun song.
But then I would have to listen to those bands too.

Yes!!!
Told my teens how folky, Celtic-inspired music was both 'alternative' and extremely popular in Canada for a period in the '90s, and I couldn't really find a reason why...it just was. Then I played some Spirit of the West and it received zero love.
Some days it's so hard to exist in a world where the murder of children is so commonplace that it barely raises an eyebrow let alone an outcry for change.

Such a thing might cause me to throw cans right there in the store.
(Like soup cans...because my 'hands' are weak and I just painted my nails)
Yay!! Congratulations!
A grey tabby kitten sits in an upright position. His mouth is open and his tongue is out so it looks like he's laughing
I just told the best joke and even Newton laughed! He's normally such a tough audience.

Just a thought: How about we stop shaming the poor for buying things that may not be essential, and start shaming the rich for making a profit off things that are essential?
A grey tabby cat sleeps on a circle with his paw covering his face. He is on a chair covered by a light blue fleece blanket.
This is Newton, my 'writing buddy' @cv2magazine.bsky.social. So far his only advice for the #2DayContest2026 has been 'maybe try napping.'

Woohoo!
It does! ๐ But it means 'a person skilled in table talk'
Text says: This year's 10 words are: Zugzwang Deipnosophist Ululation Solivagant Pizzazz Funk Sniffishness Express Clam Bone
Always a good sign when I've never heard of (and probably can't pronounce) the first four words...๐

Five alarm fire for democracy in Canada.
Not just Alberta.
The whole country.
Not hyperbole. When we take away effective representation, we no longer have a real claim to being a liberal democracy. If Alberta gets away with this, other provinces will follow.
This is awful news, especially for communities living nearby & downstream, but pipeline ruptures like this will become lethal if we allow the oilsands companies to build explosive CO2 pipelines across the province - like the Pathways carbon capture project. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/... #ABLeg #ABPoli

That's loser energy. Grow up.
If you want to voice your concern about this new Alberta provincial bill that includes censoring public library materials and impacts your right to privacy, you can do so easily with the form at this link. #abpoli
