Add freight, warehousing, fulfillment, and distribution margins, and that once-$25 game quickly becomes a $40 product. That's not a luxury upcharge; it's survival math. Some people ask, "Why not manufacture in the U.S.?" I wish we could. But the infrastructure to support full-scale boardgame production – specialty dice making, die-cutting, custom plastic and wood components – doesn't meaningfully exist here yet. I've gotten quotes. I've talked to factories. Even when the willingness is there, the equipment, labor, and timelines simply aren't."

I hate that our brain juices end up working as they do. Especially amongst the creative folks. Huge hugs to those that need them, or just want them.

The brain juices play their own game, and sadly we are at their whim. Many of us have been where you are, and if you can fight them off long enough, you will be in the position to try to share the light at the end of the tunnel with others who struggle.

Added "The Playful" to my CGC gang this week. The playful because he likes to play with his food.

Definitely. GSC characters have all the personality. One of the reasons I love using their models in Necromunda.

Hobby progress happened! Withergrasp Doubledrool is assembled, and the Kriegers got their belt kit, so are finished as well!

Hobby table is like the Land of Misfit Toys right now. Got 10 Death Korps, 3 LI Predators, 4 Justarian Terminators, and the BB star player Withergrasp Doubledrool... none of which are fully assembled. So close on all of them, but the squirrel is MIGHTY!
