There is nothing more powerful and more meaningful than just choosing to help someone else, in whatever way you can. Every little bit matters, but when we all do it together, no hatred or malice or cruelty can stand in the way.

We’re gonna win
Billionaires funding the roster but Texas Tech looking like a bunch of poors right now tbh
And second, $100 for each option, because Rice runs the triple now y'all!
Aight here's what I got for the @edsbs.bsky.social Charity Bowl, y'all:
First, $10 for each Alabama national championship, because I think @jasonkirk.fyi would agree that for these purposes, even 1941 counts
Good things came from the movies and revival, but I've never entirely forgiven Futurama for not just letting "The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings" be the finale. It's a perfect piece of television.
Not a quote, but the robot that's a Hawkeye parody in "War is the H-Word" who has the "Irreverent/Maudlin" switch
"Oh, a lesson in not changing history from Mr. I'm-My-Own-Grandpa!"
"Yes, I saw. You were doing well until everyone died."
"You can't just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!"
"I have a very sexy learning disorder. What do I call it, Kif?"
"*weary sigh*—Sexlexia."
"Your Neutralness—it's a beige alert!"
"If I don't make it, tell my wife 'hello.'"
"Now I am leaving Earth for no raisin!"
"Ow, fire hot!"
"The Professy will help!—AHHHH!! Fire indeed hot!"
I'm a teacher—I'm tired of thinking and talking about it and I'm tired of pretending to care about how to make it useful.
I'm gonna teach my kids how to do physics, which means I'm teaching them how to solve problems and how to keep trying when shit gets hard. That matters. Gen AI doesn't.
I'm a Steph guy, so mostly I want my transition to a post-Warriors NBA to not include hating any team as much as I'd feel obliged to hate the Spurs in that universe lol
As an adult-transplant Houstonian, I've had a mostly cordial relationship with Spurs fans in the course of my NBA fandom (dating back to c. 2014). But they already act like they're God's Special Favorite Franchise™️ and I would not have been able to tolerate that if they'd gotten Flagg lmao
And I still don't hate them as much as my mom does. My mom is one of the kindest, most giving human beings alive, and if you told her Auburn winning a game would hand Alabama another natty on the spot, she'd still say "fuck them kids" and root for whoever was playing them.
I ain't got time for Alabama fans who tell me they hate Tennessee more than Auburn. That's great for you, but I grew up in Birmingham and was a teenager during the Tuberville streak. I hate Auburn more than you've ever imagined hating any team.
Reminder that we weren't that far away from the Spurs getting Cooper Flagg two years after getting Wemby. I think I would've hated them harder than I've ever hated any non-Auburn sports franchise ever

ZOHRAN MAMDANI: "It is sad that for too many Americans when they want to look for ambition in the Democratic Party, they have to turn to a history book."

I don't think I could say anything not nice about Tim Curry?
“Pancreatic cancer mRNA vaccine shows lasting results in an early trial. Scientists caution that more research is needed, but nearly all of the patients who responded to the personalized vaccine are still alive six years later.”
This is why we should fund science. 🧪
Yep!
Like, unfortunately the PRODUCT FOR MEN marketing was spot on!! It does look good on my broad shoulders and large gut!!
Anyway, they had a four pack from one of those brands at Costco and I picked it up on a whim
And I kinda regret to say that the fit is hella flattering, as advertised
