There exists a collision bug where the check used to prevent Sonic from clipping on top of a surface he's too far below from isn't done if he's moving horizontally in the air. This can easily be seen if you put a solid object on a top solid surface and hit it from the bottom.

Yep, that's how the license works. Also I should clarify, BSD 3-clause is for Sonic Worlds Delta. If you are using Sonic Worlds Next, that's MIT licensed (as seen in the LICENSE file in the repository!) but that functions exactly the same way with the same credits requirement.
ahhh, I see
haven't really checked in on this place in a while, what happened now
consider it licensed under the BSD 3-clause license. It has been used in indie games before (see: Freedom Planet) so you're not the first
Heretic 2's always been kind of a pain in the ass to get working on modern PCs. Heretic2R is a new reverse-engineered source port that alleviates much of this, and its first release just dropped: github.com/m-x-d/Hereti...

I'm so dumbfounded by all of this. I already appealed how I could. The least I can expect to happen now is for the account limits to go away tomorrow, and HOPE I'm not hit with another warning.
Most I can ask from others is maybe file a ticket on Discord's support page about this. It's all I got.
@discord.com
Hey, can you at LEAST give proper answers when people try to contact you through the proper means, instead of "woopsie looks like you need to appeal and get this sorted!! :3"
HELLO??? TRYING TO DO THAT NOW.
Sort your shit out, Discord. No wonder people are cancelling Nitro now...
oh my god this is extremely funny
A composition of three images: a screenshot of the source code to Pokémon Red, highlighting a label called VunixMachine; a screenshot of Pokémon Red with the player using a PC in a Pokémon Center, saying "RED turned on the PC.", and an infobox from Wikipedia featuring a photo of a HP 9000 workstation running System V.
The PC in every Pokémon Center allows you to connect to Bill's and Prof. Oak's computers over the network, just like a workstation connected to the Internet in the early days. The source code to Pokémon Red (1996) implies we are using System V UNIX.
So why are we using ray tracing for shadows when we have this
While discussing various idTech stuff in a private chat with friends, we discovered that Carmack's Reverse, the shadow rendering method in DOOM 3 that Creative Labs claimed ownership of, had its patent expire back in 2019: patents.google.com/patent/US638...
Hah hah. You know the ironic thing? This gif is from Puyo Puyo Tetris, a non-union game for Sega.
A non-union game that WENT UNION, along with, as far as I know, ALL of Sega's properties.
Puyo Puyo: union
Yakuza: union
Persona: union
Sonic: union
Thank you, Sega! 💙
A Screenshot from the video game Selaco. It features Graffiti of a chicken that is called the "God of Selaco". This is a reference to Graf Zahl, lead programmer for GZDoom (the game engine Selaco's engine is forked from) and notorious internet dickhead

The ESA and game preservation The ESA has repeatedly pushed back against game preservation efforts, and continued to do so here. In its argument, the organization said a "substantial market" still exists for classic games, including secondary markets. "Enabling widespread remote access to preserved games with minimal supervision would present a serious risk to an important market," it wrote.
(the ESA has been THE primary organization advocating against the Video Game History Foundation's efforts to allow online access to their library of preserved games, for the record - JUST IN CASE anyone wants to sell them someday)
