I one-shotted an undead necromancer in last night's session thanks to a crit. My character's reaction was "Ooops."

New piece! I struggled with this one a lot back when I started it a year or two ago, but it finally came together nice and easy when I went back and took a second look at it. 😊

I recently scrapped my WIP. I love its bones but I know I can do better. I know there is more to this story than this version (which was draft 12, beta and sensitivity read and fully edited).

Would love to have a writer group to work with!

I've done this a little too much and now that our IT person has left our satellite office, the powers that be have decided that I can replace them in addition to my day job. Without extra pay.

Fully agree. I have a good friend who chose academia because she thought there is more integrity in it than private practice. She was at a major US university doing cancer research. the result was basically dictated as was the preferred presentation.

Never saw someone leave academia faster.

Now with some working experience under the belt, whenever I research, I can't stop shaking my head at the utter nonsense some people present as truth.
