Tonight, UW WBB will be without senior guard Elle Ladine tonight as they host Seattle University. It's unclear what the injury is.
Ladine is in street clothes.
Elle averaged 17 PPG and 4.9 RPG last year, and is expected to be big for UW this season.

Thank you so much, Jenn!🥹 Really appreciate your support on this!
This story on Princeton first-year Sarah Lessig by my @theixbasketball.bsky.social colleague @rowanschaberg.bsky.social is worth your time. Lessig's path shows you don't have to spend a ton of money on travel basketball, or even specialize in the sport, to find a fit at the college level.
This story has been a long time coming. Like so many others, I’ve been deeply inspired by Sarah’s journey and can’t wait for the rest of the world to see her the way we Seattleites do. Thank you to everyone who made this piece possible!🫶

The Storm is officially on the clock! Final thoughts: I will be shocked if Seattle doesn’t take Dominique Malonga. Seattle loves a good international pick (think Jackson, Magbegor, etc.) and a previous connection with current players (Gabby Williams France connection). Seems like the perfect fit!
Learning more about Clarice Akunwafo’s passion for her craft(s) and dedication to bettering the lives of others was truly inspiring. So grateful for the opportunity to share her story!
UW women's basketball has added two key transfers today, as Yulia Grabovskaia and Avery Howell are officially Huskies

Update on this story from earlier this week: Ayoka Lee announced yesterday that she will not be entering the WNBA Draft or continuing her basketball career. Now, we wait until April 14th to find out if Serena Sundell will be selected by a WNBA team. Congrats on an incredible career, Ayoka!
After losing to USC in the #Sweet16, Kansas State star seniors Ayoka Lee and Serena Sundell reflect on their historic collegiate careers and what the future may hold. Our @rowanschaberg.bsky.social has more from the Spokane regional:
This press conference really put a bow on an incredible Husky season. Covering this team, I was so impressed to see the genuine mutual love and respect between the players and the coaching staff. Langley has built a really special program in Seattle that she should be proud of.
Exciting new addition to my collection came in the mail today!🥳
Here's this afternoons UW women's basketball starting five for their senior day battle against Oregon.
Tina Langley remains with the teams starting five that she's used for the last few months, as the team closes out the regular season.

Our key Husky player to watch today is Dalayah Daniels. "Dalayup" is averaging a near double-double with 19.0 points and 9.3 rebounds across the last three games, and we look for the Seattle natives impact on senior day.
