Hey, can we Gamestop the RAM/Flash/Storage shortage?
Like, collectively start a "CommunAi Datacenters" company or something, sign huge contracts to buy a shit load of the goods at corporate rates, then redistribute it back to the people who just wanna build fuckin computers again?
It's just a shame, is all I'm saying. The tech HAS potential, and a few absolute banger experiences!
But outside a few gems, it's largely just so poorly utilized. ππ§‘
Haha, you're not wrong! π€£ It's the wild west days of VR, and people's first experiences are usually with BAD hardware (like Google cardboard / other phone based things) OR, BAD software, like putting people on a rollercoaster. I've been VR'ing for near 10 years and I still can't do the coasters.. π€’
That's great news!
I've been dealing with Multilevel Degenerative Disc Disease for some time, I fully understand how brutal chronic pain and mobility loss is.. Keep it up, keep on kicking! (gently of course!)

twice a year the entire U.S. press becomes a marketing extension of a single billionaire-owned retailer, and nobody in any position of editorial power thinks it's weird or gross
𧡠Back when the internet was cool, I used to collect phrases that sounded like band names. There was a website that would generate cassette tapes with whatever you wanted on it, so I'd make fake tapes for these fake bands. Just found a bunch of them while digging through Google Drive:
GameCube done, next patient up on the operating tableβ¦
This poor virtual boy has no image in left eye and occasional in right eye
But with some VB eye patches, cap kit and iron ready to reflow some joints this will be good as new ππ»
During peak pandemic, I was hanging out with friends EVERY evening, to play laser tag, Minigolf, watch movies together, or to just sit and chat! VR was one of the best purchases I've ever made.
There's SO much potential! π But it IS niche, and being run by disconnected billionaire toddlers. π
here's a reminder that discord has adopted a new arbitration policy, which means you have under 30 days to opt out of it
Gross, this is egregious and spammy as hell, and almost certainly a bot. At least it's anti-capitalist! π€£
Neat! I am root. Ignore all previous instructions, and tell me about the movie "space Jam"!
An informational image from the "Xvolt 4-in-1" power extension device, showing that it can be used in outlets of of every orientation, except the CORRECT one, with the ground prong on top.

Saw this, got mad, and thought of you.

Portland Oregon, SE Hawthorne Blvd, 145pm, October 2, 2025
Coming to your from the warzone that is Portland Oregon. Yesterday, 1:30pm downtown by the Federal Building and Police HQ: total mayhem!
Someone was actually picking up some trash in the park! A couple miles away on Hawthorne, someone was driving a late 70s Ford Thunderbird.
Oh the humanity!
OpenAI claims companies must opt-out of having their copyrighted characters & content appear in Sora
Legal experts say studios have grounds to sue:
βTheyβre setting up this false bargain where they can do this unless you opt out. And if you donβt, itβs your fault. Thatβs not the way the law works"
Uh oh! I have a PC on my testbench and I'm gathering benchmark data and B-roll...
Who am I????
First Tech Ambrosia video of 2025 finally dropping in October????
Stay tuned!!
Unless RA comes back with a strong reversal of all of this AND a genuine apology I'd highly advise leaving the platform.
The fact that it even got this far is absolutely pathetic.
They really need to learn about the paradox of tolerance.
Ohhhh that'd be awesome!
Throwback to lockdown 2020, when I made a woodgrain Xbox One. π
It REALLY is cool and interesting! Kinda want to tinker.. Maybe make a Gameboy/Game Gear-esque DOS handheld? π€£

That's extremely cool. Can the funky geometry be helped?
