Funny how when rendering an illustration, inking is my least favorite part… but when working in animation, it’s my most favorite. I always wanna rush through inks on illustrations but I’m totally fine taking my time with cleanup.

It’s a nice place to go where I’m not ruminating on real world things. Just thinking about moldy paper and how my characters would interact with mold spores.

I was never really into world building until recently when I decided to make an animated short about bugs. I can’t describe the feeling I get when I revisit scenes in my head that I myself made up. Imagery that no one else has seen, that only I can give to the world. It’s neat.
