🌊Thank you, Kamloops. 💚
Yesterday was a powerful reminder of what community can accomplish together.
More than 175 volunteers showed up to clean our shoreline, joined by 20 amazing volunteers who hosted booths and our generous partners and supporters who helped make the day possible.
Our city is built by caring, dedicated volunteers, and we want to celebrate YOU! 💙
Join Mayor and Council for the Volunteer Appreciation BBQ and enjoy an afternoon of connection, gratitude, and community spirit.

Yesterday I was at the celebration of 30 years of the Y Dream home. An amazing collaboration between YMCA-BC, CHBA-CI, and TRU Trades. A very partnership unique across Canada. Bravo! #kamloops

Never forget, a 13-year study found that protected bike-lanes led to a drastic decline in fatalities for all road users.
ALL ROAD USERS.
What about painted bike-lanes? No safety improvement at all.
For sharrows, it’s actually safer to NOT have them.
