Coliving About Us: Our Mission, Vision & Passion for Shared Living Coliving.com is the #1 discovery and booking platform for coliving homes worldwide. Understand our mission, meet the team and read more about our story.

...and I just stumbled upon coliving.com ...so apparently the terminology is in broader use than I had originally perceived!

I've been curious about the possibility of co-living developments in townhome form. Are you familiar with any efforts like that?

I do see they recognized "co-living" terminology in the article, so perhaps it's catching on!

Incredible to me that the Evergreen Point and Yarrow Point flyer stops on 520 exist as some of nicest bus rapid transit infrastructure in the region but don't count at all in Washington's transit oriented development bill.

Kirkland's terminology was previously "residential suites," but I admit that's also ambiguous.

I was admittedly a bit concerned that "co-living" could be easily confused with "co-housing."

Yesteryear's SRO is today's "co-living" (at least in WA--not sure if this is the terminology elsewhere).

With the ACA in critical condition, it's time for WA to pursue its own universal health care.

CK-backed Malik posted a video of her describing her ideal 10-minute neighborhood. The leading quality? Next to a freeway. 🤦‍♂️

Fortunately it didn't happen in Kirkland for this election! Kirkland has been a regional leader for many years in nurturing great places for people, and it looks like we'll be continuing on that path.

I'd propose to limit land value tax revenue growth to not exceed the percentage change in land value in the jurisdiction, as this would allow the revenue to remain aligned with local economic conditions, while establishing an economic incentive for cities to nurture places that are more valuable.

A tax on realized capital gains in land value could make up for the 1% constitutional limit.

By 1% cap, are you primarily referring to the growth rate limit or the constitutional tax limit on assessed value?

If you're a Disney+ subscriber and care about the first amendment of the US Constitution, you can send a clear message to Disney/ABC by submitting your cancellation today.

You'll still be able to use the service until your subscription period ends, and can revert your cancellation if they change.

I'd like to find examples of successful applications of this principle that use materials that are most economically likely to be used today. Any ideas?

I'm having trouble seeing where they claimed he is a threat, unless you're referring to something that isn't visible in the screenshot.

A bunch of folks showed up to the Bothell City Council tonight to speak against a potential resolution affirming Bothell as a welcoming place for LGBTQIA+ people.

Here was Bothell Mayor Mason Thompson's response.

Fortunately this time it wasn't as bad as when the laptop decided to reboot and update the firmware without warning while I was in the middle of chairing my first public hearing for the planning commission.

I haven't been using Windows much over the past 20 years, having been on Mac and Chrome for most of that time...so, tell me, is this something that Windows users normally just tolerate? (I'm used to getting 7 days notice on my Chromebook rather than just 5 minutes.)

Is the bike lane pictured supposedly "protected"? Needs some armadillos at a minimum, or even something more on that curve! 🫣
