One of my favorite moments I’ve ever photographed! This is T19B “Galiano” in “Airplane Mode”. He’s one of the biggest males in the population and it took me almost 8yrs to see him breach. A bucketlist shot for me!

Myth-busting bats, newts and the economy vs nature protections | The Wildlife Trusts There has been widespread misinformation blaming nature as a blocker to growth in the run up to the Chancellor’s speech this week, writes Joe Keegan, public affairs officer at The Wildlife Trusts.

Our political leaders are saying nature protections are blocking growth - when the truth is that nature underpins our economy. Good myth-buster here 👇

Affirmation Coyote knows Tuesday suck. You just get through Monday and dang, 4 more days of the grind.

But you can do it, just like you've made it through all the Tuesdays.

It's also National Hugging Day. If you don't have someone to hug, you have permission to imagine hugging Affirmation Coyote.

Where have all the species gone? Understanding climate change’s toll on nature » Yale Climate Connections Why land protection and climate action are both vital to the future of plants and animals.

Where have all the species gone?

Soon we will just have a world of human, their livestock and pets as humans terminate life on Earth
Animals have disappeared at a rate of 30 to 120 times that of any other point in the last 66 million years.

An international treaty banning the capture, transport, & imprisonment of whales, dolphins, seals, walrus, & all other marine mammals w/significant mandatory economic & military sanctions is critically needed

While it's not the best whale image we've ever taken, it's still pretty awesome when your very first orca photo of the year is a Southern Resident killer whale. That's J16 Slick off the west side of San Juan Island on January 10.
