Vandaag hadden de eerstejaars Natuur- en Sterrenkunde hun allereerste postersessie! Ze hebben de afgelopen maanden hun eerste waarnemingen gedaan op het dak en vandaag presenteerden ze hun analyses en resultaten. Hier zijn een aantal van de trotse studenten met hun posters.

Vaak doen astronomen onderzoek met data die door een sterrenwacht of zelfs door een ruimtetelescoop zijn verzameld maar soms moet je voor baanbrekend onderzoek (pardon the pun, Marieke ;)) toch echt zelf met de telescopen bezig.

Een paar sfeerfoto's van de #sidewalkastronomy #stoepsterrenkunde van afgelopen woensdag. Helaas vanavond niet helder voor de #landelijkesterrenkijkdagen maar we maken er alsnog wel een leuke avond van!

Weertje he? Het lijkt wel #lente! Wij maken gebruik van deze mooie heldere hemel voor een potje #stoepsterrenkunde vanavond vanaf 19:30 op Javaplein in #amsterdam. Iedereen is welkom door onze telescoop te komen kijken, gratis natuurlijk!

En ja wij hebben te maken met VEEL lichtvervuiling maar zoals je ziet hebben we ook een mooie lage oostelijke horizon dus het was bij ons prima te zien!
