I spent a crazy amount of money on one of these last year
sort by new rather than top. you'll find the cranks.
that's a lot of cat
Hah fair. I considered ordering a random seemingly compatible battery from AliExpress but I wasn't sure which connector I needed and was afraid it could be sketchy (the main compatible one I found had a black friday deal for 1 euro). Keychron sorted it out even if they don't sell this model anymore
Oh no. What keyboard was it? I have a replacement battery on the way for my Keychron (at least from the official source) and Iโm now somewhat concerned ๐
Got a pet sitter appointment around lunch time :(
Oh I think Iโll be able to join up
This was the guy I got the replacement switches from: ents.win
Unfortunately he doesn't ship to europe anymore but you can find some more knowledge and info there.
There's videos of people doing other weird hacky hardware fixes (in the case of the G Pro at least). I ended up replacing the switches on mine a few years back, but it eventually developed another issue so I recently replaced it with a G Pro 2 which has optical switches, not prone to that issue.
if that uses the Omron Black Shell Blue Dot like the first gen Logitech G Pro (which I believe they do) then yeah, it's common.
Someone told me you can "increase the debounce time" to try and fix double clicking but I have no idea if that's a software or hardware fix.
I wonder if this happens mostly because a lot of developers who choose Unity are more PC centric and have no experience with console development therefore not knowing how to port their games well over there. I know of someone who used to work for Unity and became a consultant doing only that job.
Based on personal experience and conversations with others this seems to be a trend in the last couple of years. Lots of places who want you to be experienced with the exact technologies they use or problems they're solving. It's nuts.
My perception is that some people have used some multi region things like CDNs or workers and think everything else is as easy to make multi region.
Are you playing the gamepass or xbox app version? I've had weird issues with save corruption on the xbox app before and on multiple occasions and I'm not sure I'll trust it moving forward.
Technically the MIT license under which he distributed the code does not require this (as he does acknowledge in the tweet) github.com/CookiePLMons...
They don't have to authorize it, but yes it would've been nice to let them know.
I specially find it funny that they published the original which when read by any reasonable person will immediately make you understand the manipulation attempts.
Now that Cohost is essentially dead, I'm going to tell a story about why caving to extremists doesn't work.
When I first signed up for Cohost, some "concerned people" wrote to staff saying that I was using the Cohost platform to "provoke KF" (by posting factual info about deplatforming status).
I need to keep an eye on a delivery but I should be able to make it
Oof. Yes it is the season. Good luck!
Oh yes definitely!
gex is right
Do double check if it's indeed using your 5Ghz connection in case you're using wifi. Not sure if they fixed this since launch but it seems to have a nasty habit of preferring 2.4Ghz if your router has both enabled.
only noticed this now and already scheduled a call right after lunch so it's not gonna work out for me today :(
Also Firefox has vertical tabs and tab groups now!
That's just Maelle
Maelle's counters are so incredibly satisfying
Might be a rocky start but don't worry, he'll be much better in a few years as Pope Leo XIV: A Realm Reborn
I understand it doesn't work for everyone but I made the move to Obsidian a while back and couldn't be happier
