I was out vinyl hunting in used record stores and I found an absolutely crazy one. Sleekest label design I've ever seen
Can you imagine how annoying it is to be married, and you two have a kid, and you're taking care of the kid while your spouse plays a game about taking care of a kid? That's basically stolen valor
Being featured on Okazu is actually so insane to me I spent my teenage years reading stuff that was recommended on it. What dimension do I exist on right now
In a noir palette of dark, muted colors, a woman wearing a dark suit with a blunt collar cut dark hair leans in towards the chest of a dark-haired woman in a sleeveless dark blouse.
Today on Okazu – No Love 1/2
Okazu guest reviewer @historyhermann.bsky.socialtakes a look at this animated action episode by Atelier connecting it to other “girls with guns” Yuri series.

I went to an art museum and it's so crazy how people in the 1800s did this stuff. No reference photos no cameras no Pinterest. Just straight up eyeballs, went outside and looked at a tree for two years. Then the house that stored the painting collapsed, and it got redrawn for another two years
It wasn't like this two years ago, but every time I go to the GL section in Japanese bookstores, there's usually always a lady or two there aggressively peering into the shelves. The shelves have been getting bigger and bigger, too
Stiff Neck is a visual novel, and an exceptional piece of queer fiction. A story about wonderfully messy people, and their suffering haunts because it is all simply too real. The writing, prose, art, and music is exceptional. Pick it up on Steam!
its trans day of visibility you should give a PRETTY LADY some MONEY or EMPLOYMENT ❗💥🤯🤯💣❗❗❗🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

The characters in Stiff Neck suffer in ways I have never seen before. A banal type of suffering that that just exists in the background, that everyone acknowledges, like a stiff neck, but crushes everyone all the same. It's rather haunting and I can't stop thinking about it
she's literally me

20 year old film director for A24... Someone once told me "hey, Mark Twain didn't get published until he was 40 so it's not a race" and I respect that, but also, I'm not Mark Twain!
My newest review for @okazu.yuricon.com is out, talking about the neo-noir #yuri indie #anime, No Love 1/2, by @arainydancer.bsky.social, centering on girls with guns, and so much more. Give it a read here: okazu.yuricon.com/2026/04/01/n...
Watched The Man from Nowhere and it's crazy funny how many times this movie's nachos got reheated throughout the 2010s. Watching this after everything that came out after was like a bombardment of cliches, and then it's like wait, this movie did it first!!
Pirating video games: buy the game digitally, remove the DRM, redistribute
Pirating arcade games:
i'm 25 years old now. that's messed up
I'm gonna try to figure out a way to get the next one age restricted just in case
and even more so, because it has more than action, but also some personality and dialogue and motivation. Due to some nudity it was age restricted, but I did not receive even a single comment regarding their gender or identity
So that age restriction is low-key a blessing, lol
Last year I released two animations: Unmounted Stones and Minute of Action. These videos feature female protagonists doing action scenes, but are not age restricted- I received several misogynistic comments regarding them
This year I released No Love 1/2. It features female protagonists,
Can't believe Melinoe just flashed everyone watching the Xbox stream like that last night
I see a lot of people walk into movies with an existing disdain against it and I wonder why they're even doing it. You're not even a film critic, and I'd question the critic too if they do the same thing. It's a waste of your time you could spend watching movies you'd be into
"I don't watch movies I don't want to see that badly" is such a funny exchange in this episode. I don't remember the last time I watched a movie and hated it- if I have a vested interest in something before I started watching it then I usually walk out of it rather satisfied
Gonna be some very low-key yearning in the next No Love. The first one had to SPRINT to establish everything, but this one will have some moments for the characters to simmer in, like a soup
I re-watched some of my old fan animations now coming up to 2 to 3 years old now, and I'm shocking myself by the way I edited and framed some of these. Some of them feel so unhinged it was as if I was using 100% of my brain lmfao
Lucky and unlucky
Someone submitted No Love 1/2 to several movie databases so now it has a letterboxd entry. It's a terrifying prospect, and even more so that there are actually reviews on it. I've seen the feedbacks on socials, but being on Letterboxd asks: how does it hold up against real fucking movies?! lol
I would say that Genocidal Organ by Project Itoh is a book that comes to my mind basically all the time. It feels so relevant now, but what isn't? The movie doesn't even come close to breaching the subject matters the book delves into
So bizarre to me that a lot of gacha games now have characters with humongous ass and titties EXCEPT for the main character. Why am I so skinny in comparison to everyone else
