Pink Shirt Day reminds us that every student and staff member deserves to feel safe, valued, and included at school. Today, letโs choose kindness, speak up when we see bullying, and reach out to anyone who seems alone.

Today is Remembrance Day, a day to reflect on the past and honour members of the Canadian Armed Forces and the RCMP who have defended our values and freedoms. We give our thanks & gratitude to those who continue to serve our nation today, ensuring peace and security for all Canadians. #LestWeForget
Together, November 8 and 11 represent both remembrance and reconciliation โ honouring not just those who fought abroad, but those who continue to fight for recognition, equality, and voice here at home.
Visit buff.ly/BRuGnS0 for more info on the legacy and contributions of Indigenous veterans.
Honouring Indigenous veterans reminds us that reconciliation requires truth, and remembrance must be inclusive of all who served, especially those who were forgotten for too long. Indigenous Veterans Day ensures that the full history of service is told, including those who were once erased from it.
This day, first recognized in 1994, arose from a need to make space for truth โ to recognize that these soldiersโ courage was not only on the battlefield, but also in the fight for dignity and recognition upon returning home.
