Feel great these 3 weeks cuz:
- Wrapping up every week with good feeling
- Learning a lot everyday
- I enjoy working in prod dev

It’s a new world but really surprised I’m way more productive & enjoying myself🙂‍↕️

Even though I’m more quiet in public than before, I really love & proud of what I work🫶

I've been very quiet for months. It's because I learned many aspects intensively. (Job, technical skills, job market, etc)

In return for losing vital things in my career & life, I earned the confidence & experience💪

I don't hesitate to say I'm not afraid of things I used to💪

Not completely against with live coding assignment style, but it's interesting to know if both styles might impact different results to see or evaluate skills from candidates💡

I really like the idea to assign something close to day-to-day work and tasks💡 Yeah being asked to solve totally new challenges in 1 hour is something won't often happen at work. Or even if it happens, the discussion process with colleagues to try and find solutions feels the closest simulation imo.

That’s really a good point💡
In a way, it creates a perfect environment to evaluate devs how they work rather than only focusing on their coding skills.

Live coding might lack evaluating more than coding skills while this option can evaluate problem solve skills and productivity.

Both challenges have different point & I wanna see better understanding of both benefits to evaluate technical skills🤔

i.e. I get nervous in live coding & come up with better solutions after the challenge is over.
I won’t get nervous with take-home assignments but feels more volume.
How about you?💡

Random curiosity:
Which type of the challenge do you think it’s more efficient to see the technical skills of the devs?

Live coding challenge or take-home assignment challenge?🔎 (Or a hybrid of both)

Agree, AI is helpful but at the same time, it won’t be when it falls into the wrong hands.

Very random but this AI generated CV issue reminded me of the old times when TS was not yet adopted widely😅

It was wild time with too much freedom but it was also chaotic😵‍💫
Maybe, that’s what’s missing🔎

I love using AI though🙂
I’m much faster coding with AI, check grammar & faster to get an overview of articles online to stock technical content ideas.

AI generated CV’s example reminded me of AI generated homework & my dev-side of mind wanna see how technologies evolves to tackle that challenge👓

AI is keep catching my eyes. Depending on how people use it, AI could make your life into breeze or opposite.

It’s interesting AI is causing issues of generating not helpful CVs for hiring managers/recruiters and they need to fight back with AI to filter them out to find a right human candidate😅

何かツールがあるはずと思って探していたところで、楽に移行できました☺️

まだあまり日本人エンジニアコミュニティにはBlueskyが浸透していないようなので、少しずつ認知されていくといいですね🙏
