First the turkeys came for the spilled seed around the bird feeders. Then they used their secret flying ability to get to the top of the bird feeder (ignoring the squirrel baffle) and grabbing mouthfuls of seed.

Now, they are roosting in the backyard. Could only manage to get seven in one photo

Interesting question. I think there isn't a "beyond repair" that is useful here. It's not like we can go to the store and get a new one. Most of us have no useful place to relocate to. We're stuck finding a path that leads to something worth evolving towards.
