Summary: The first time Lan Zhan tries to confess to Wei Ying, he gets about two words in before Jiang Cheng crashes into Wei Ying's room. There's shouting, the door slamming against the wall, and as Wei Ying laughs and lunges for his brother, Jiang Cheng makes deliberate, pointed eye contact with Lan Zhan and sneers. Wei Ying catches his eye, grinning ruefully, something wry and knowing in his gaze before he's out the door, chasing after a quickly-retreating Jiang Cheng. Lan Zhan remembers the first time he saw Wei Ying on campus, coincidentally the same time that he got Wei Ying in trouble for having alcohol in the dorms, and has to admit that Jiang Cheng's vitriol isn't wholly undeserved. Or, Lan Zhan, after a long series of fumbles, is finally ready to confess. Unfortunately for him, Wei Ying's friends are nowhere near ready to let him.
