The first Tiny Desk Concert came in 2008 after NPR’s Bob Boilen and Stephen Thompson left South by Southwest frustrated that they couldn't hear the music over the crowd noise. Thompson joked that the musician, folk singer Laura Gibson, should just perform at Boilen's desk.

Muchas gracias Jaime.
Hola Jaime ¿Puedes compartirnos el link con el estudio completo? Muchas gracias.
Correcto, ayer me revisé la página web y me parece que trajeron el formato con los precios que conocemos. Esto va a generar tremenda espaviento en el mercado.
Benny Moré, ‘El Bárbaro del Ritmo’ and ‘El Sonero Mayor de Cuba,’ is an icon of Cuban music. This gem from the 1950s lets us hear his stunning voice and orchestra live from Radio El Progreso in Havana.

I’m still optimistic; I believe most people are like you, kind-hearted. We’ve overcome crises in the past, and we will overcome this one too.
That’s great news! In Costa Rica, we’re facing crime issues in rural areas due to several factors: a lack of opportunities for youth from limited investment in education and development, and large gentrifying capital that benefits a few but harms many.
Im so sorry for your lost in such a horrible way.
This conversation got me thinking about the negative connotation of “immigrant,” when it simply means someone leaving their country for a better or safer life. Could be a musician seeking opportunities, a nature lover, or someone seeking work. Recognizing we’re part of a category can foster empathy.

Thank you 🙏🏻
With all the love I’m saying this: one problem is when you call yourselves “expats” instead of immigrants... That mental gymnastics makes it difficult to start having empathy for people who look for a better life outside their own countries… you know... immigrants…

In December 1970, this iconic Christmas album by Willie Colón and Héctor Lavoe hit stores, becoming one of the best-selling records in Latin music history. Its cover was designed by the legendary Izzy Sanabria, Fania’s creative director, who shaped the ‘Deluxe Style’ of New York’s salsa movement.
“A Charlie Brown Christmas” by Vince Guaraldi, released in 1965, remains one of my favorite Christmas albums. This unique soundtrack was an unexpected blend of traditional holiday tunes and contemporary jazz, serving as the first introduction to jazz for millions of people.
It must be “Backpfeifengesicht”
Really? 😆
Hot take? Maybe. But UK folks in general have music taste so good, it feels like they’ve all signed a secret deal with the soundtrack gods.
Genios.
