Haven't been posting much because there hasn't been a whole lot of new or notable things going on.

Still dealing with medical issues that leave me pretty drained with everything so I've been keeping to myself more.

I always went with Scorpion or Kung Lao in the games where they were available.

Glad to see #mortalkombat getting new entries and remaining relevant as it was such a huge part of childhood and teen years.

X was cool. Glad the Shinnok thing got some love because he was easiest the lamest Mortal Kombat boss up until that point.

Idk why but I struggled with Sub Zero which is strange cause he controls exactly the same as Scorpion and I smoked the game with him. I dont even rely on his spear all that much.

Beaten the original MK (Genesis) on Hard difficulty and no credits used with 4 out of 7 characters so far.

Not a crazy accomplishment but feels good.

I'll admit, I don't think I've ever completed an X Days challenge (like 20 day for ex) in my life.

Definitely dropped the ball on the one I was doing so probably gonna commit to something different.

Oh man. I was a big fan of #fighters and #beatemups as a kid so these three are probably at the top. I know #mortalkombat had other ports but let's be honest, the #genesis one holds up better (I do prefer the #snes for mk2 and beyond though).

Set a goal for myself to try and master/get all the achievements for the #segagensis version of #mortalkombat over on #retroacheivments.

I got a ways to go but feels good. Also playing #roadrash3 and I might add another to the rotation. Idk.

I love it. I have pretty solid memories of playing it on my dad's PC when he wasn't home in the 90s. I got more into DOOM but this one was always a favorite as well.

That sound you get when you land a solid roundhouse kick in #mortalkombat on #segagenesis is so satisfying, man.

The Wavebird is still such a cool-looking controller. I wouldn't advise squinting this far away at the screen though.
