Fuck, I transitioned almost 30 years ago. I don't even have an PHOTOS of me as a boy.
It's a legal limbo. If I try to cross the border, who the fuck knows what kind of legal trouble that inspires.
The government changed my passport gender marker.
I have NO documentation stating I'm male. Not my birth certificate, driver's license, medical records. I'm intersex, so I don't even know what a DNA test might say.
Which means I CAN'T prove my passport isn't a fraud to any foreign government.
(Do not get a Maine Coon if you don't want what is essentially a teacup bobcat literally body-slamming you awake to tell you they missed you while you were sleeping and can it be cuddles now, please?)

I am so happy. I feel so supported and taken care of, and I'm still so proud of this book, and I love what it's helping to do to bring women to Magic and show them that they can be welcome. I hope they'll stay.

An update: I am done with Bookcon. Day two went swimmingly.
Both days, a raffle was running for really awesome MtG coloring books. Heavy paper, detailed art, free to enter. But because you had to come to the booth to claim your prize, most prizes had gone unclaimed.
April is Autism Awareness Month and I am on book tour, thus giving lots and LOTS of new people the opportunity to be aware of autism!
