Rosskoff, in his effort to shame @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social as not knowing LGBTQ history, overlooked all the queers, including lesbian CM @tiffanycaban.bsky.social who stood shoulder to shoulder with the Mayor yesterday at his public endorsement of @lindseyboylan.bsky.social (photos by me) 5/

But, Rosskoff and Quinn are so mired in the "Manhattan's West Side is where all the gays are" mindset, when the reality is that the majority of LGBTQIA2S+ New Yorkers are priced out of District 3, there are now gayborboods all over the city, and the LGBTQ Caucus has members from every borough. 4/

I can't remember seeing Quinn or Roskoff marching at a single 50501/No Kings/Hands Off march over the last year, haven't heard from them on ICE, Palestine, Council bills 001 or 175, or a plethora of issues that speak to the fundamental morals and principles of NYC Democrats. 3/

Also angering: my friend (whom I love) Erik Bottcher's vote for Menin as speaker over Black, lesbian Brooklyn CM Crystal Hudson. The Roskoff/Quinn old guard should talk to people in the district, rather than political elites at DNC gatherings in NOLA and real estate moguls at fancy fundraisers. 2/
